ACSI Global Day of Prayer

ACSI Global Day of Prayer

The ACSI Day of Prayer is an annual event that advances Christ-centered education by advocating through prayer. These past few school years have presented many unique challenges, but God has given our school communities the strength to overcome adversities and pursue new opportunities. We encourage you to join ACSI when we unite across the globe to pray for Christ-centered education next year on Tuesday, 28 February, 2023 / Wednesday, 1 March 2023, depending on your time zone.

2023 Day of Prayer Theme: Shine Bright

One of the first Sunday school songs young children quickly learn is “This Little Light of Mine.” Boys and girls learn the hand motions of creating a candle with their finger, covering it with their other hand and lifting their hand when they collectively yell “No!” The next line is “I’m gonna let it shine…”

The word “let” is a good reminder for all of us that when we know Jesus as Lord and Savior, His light naturally radiates through us. It’s nothing forced or created. We all shine bright as we share God’s love with others.
