Attention Teachers, Ex-Teachers and Friends of Teachers

Following the implementation of a new Conscription Law by the military-based government in Myanmar, some national teachers of conscription age serving in the Covenant-Promise Group of Christian Schools have recently left the country.

There are currently UP TO 20 NEW TEACHERS across the Primary and Secondary tears of schooling NEEDED URGENTLY. Some of these needs are at the international school in Yangon, and others at the affiliated bilingual national schools around Yangon.

Could you help on a short-term basis - or even longer?

Would you pass on this need to others who might have a missional heart for the Burmese people, and be interested and available?

Despite ongoing unrest in some parts of the country, our foreign staff find conditions in Yangon to be generally stable and safe. A national salary and basic accommodation can be provided if required.
